Just another left coast troll, probably using a borrowed laptop at the local coffee house, who has no problem with fascism and totalitarianism as long as she agrees with the dictators goals. And the left wonders why it’s always the socialist left that create the fascist regimes around the world. Once you abandon the rule of law, the foundation of the republic, you are left with mob rule and/or despotism, and heaven help you when it turns ugly and finds you as the problem.

Here is why I do not support gay ‘marriage.’ Has nothing to do with ‘close-mindedness’ nor ‘anger.’ In fact, I’d go so far as to say that my mind is alot more open than those of most gay marriage proponents I’ve debated – including you.

How does a gay person getting married affect you? Are they taking your rights away? Are they in some mysteries way making YOU gay (btw you’re pretty much born gay so that can’t be true)? Are they hurting you in any way, shape or form? NO, they are not. They just want the same rights as you and I. What Gavin Newsom did was the right thing that a person accepting of EVERYONE should do. The marriage licenses may not be valid now but he made his point and brought attention toward homosexuals and the rights they SHOULD have. It WAS a big step in the right direction for homosexuals whether you think it true or not.

Gavin Newsom is a great Mayor who has done many great things for this city and wouldn’t have had to take such drastic step if wasn’t for close-minded people like you. Maybe you should befriend a homosexual and see that the only difference between you and them is their sexual preference, if you cannot look past that then that is too bad for you. I feel bad for you and if you have children, I feel bad for them too. I pray none of your children (or future children) are gay because it is hard enough for homosexuals in society today but it is even harder to have a parent who isn’t accepting of THIER lifestyle.
