This is widespread (and it's happening to both parties). I don't think the yards of private citizens/official party HQs are chosen at random. There are too many of these type things happening to assert the possibility that there's little if any validity to the claims. I'm not quite sure how anyone could look at these incidents and not believe that the vast majority are politically motivated. I mean, this is an election season and emotions in this country are at an all time high. You may want to make the assumption that these incidents aren't politically motivated, but I won't. Or is it because the publicity is really what they are after? That would seem to cast some doubt on the validity of the claims. Or is it because when the police investigate they find nothing or at least no political bias? Just as they did when they investigated theft of the laptops from the GOP office in Washington state. They found no evidence or that they theft was politically motivated but the link to that incident neglected to mention that. You raise a good point. Is that the new GOP strategy... playing the victim? Sounds just like the guy in Michigan who had his son pose as a union member and make his little sister cry as he tore up a Bush Cheney sign. If you are going to make up stories at least make them believable. Like the dozens and dozens of signs destroyed and that equates to how many dollars worth of damages for the GOP? Either you guys are real bad at math or I want to bid on your printing jobs. The company you are using must be making a fortune. Besides there were hundreds of thousands well behaved of protesters in New York City for the RNC with virtually no reports of property damage or violence. Give me a break.
