Cool: Indeed. Though I have seen a couple of instances of Republican behavior like this, the majority I've seen is widespread from liberal groups like ACORN.

Chick: Glad to see you posting here! Thanks for your insight on ACORN.

How did it go on getting Nadar on the ballot in PA?

I worked a petition drive to allow Ralph Nader onto the PA ballot. While I do not support Nader's candidacy, I support his right to appear on the ballot. (As I did H. Ross Perot's right in 1992.
We ran into some ACORN activists.
Professional petitioners are definitely paid by the signature. But the most professional of those petitioners, and I worked with one, hold the line of legality.
ACORN, IMHO, did not. The ACORN workers, and some of the less savory petitioners in my group, focused only on their payout (or payin, as it were).

ACORN, IMHO, has no interest in true voter registration, but has only the paycheck of the petitioner in mind. Or the ACORN agenda, it's tough to discern the difference, sometimes.
It's BS formulated to bring uneducated voters into a voting forum of which they have no knowledge. The ACORN goal is uneducated voters who help to pursue the ACORN agenda, by buying into whatever the registrar invokes.
This is not to say that Republicans don't attempt the same goal. We probably do, but not with wuch a vociferous attitude, IMHO!
Just my humble $.02!

That is one nice thing about the internet and blogs - word like this gets out more rapidly. Granted, I saw a report of this on Fox News.

The Democrats are in hate mode for this election. They want Bush out, and by hook or by crook they'll get him out. In the end, they'll only ruin their credibility.

Hi J., I've seen a couple of instances of Republican shenanigans but only on a very small scale. This ACORN group seems to have some massive coordinated effort going on nationwide. I hate to wave the conspiracy flag, but if the shoe fits ...

This is nothing new for the Democrats. Now, however, there are people like you Sister, who will report it and get it out so that many can see what would otherwise only be a blip on the crowded radar screen.
