I found a confusing (to my feeble brain) blog at:

It makes reference to Allahpundit and states that Allahpundit is simply tired of blogging. While I am pleased that the explanation is not worse, I wish Allahpundit had at least reassured his fans that he was OK. Anyway, that’s what I came across, FWIW. It is the only ‘news’ I have found so far.

Hi La Shawn! Thanks for the update. I’m smacking myself upside the head wondering why I didn’t think to email him myself! Good to know he’s ok – I hope he returns soon or if he’s taking a vacation from blogging, I hope he gets a well deserved rest.

I am surprised and frankly dissapointed that there are not more voices in the blogosphere just as concerned. Allahpundit was often linked to by many bloggers, especially in the last several months. I keep hoping to see some mention by anyone that he is OK, even if there is no explanation for his absence. Anyway, thanks for at least giving me a place to check every day (thru trackback at Allahpundit)
