Besides Bill Clinton, there are many that said the same as Bush. They are:
1) French Intelligence
2) German Intelligence
3) Kerry (John)
4) Russian Intelligence
5) Madeliene Albright
6) British Intelligence
7) U.S. Intelligence
Other Democrat Senators (who coincidentally mostly voted for the war – only 12 didn’t)

So. The question is – if everyone said that Saddam had biological and chemical weapons and Saddam had used them on his own people in the past, where are they (where did they get moved to in the 18 month long “rush” to war)?

What were the “lies” that this war was pushed on?

I’m waiting to be educated…

I mean, who would think about war and hostility going together?

Not to be too obvious, but you don’t know the first thing about me. So, respectfully, save it.

If people who object to our entrance into this war can never ever have integrity, then clearly there is nothing to discuss. But in my experience, people are driven by different motives. Sheehan has a strength that in many ways can’t be matched by any politico, since she seems utterly sincere.

That’s why Goldstein’s comment seems pretty darn patronizing to me.

- Maybe if we just bite the bullet and issue “get out of any possible present or future draft cards” to all the liberals they will sit down and stop shaking. I love to watch liberals pontificate about other peoples morals, and denegrate those who have the character they themselves lack. Especially when good people lay down their lives to protect these morale cowards. That they do it anyway, in spite of the jabs and bad mouthing, speaks volumes about who has real character.

- Its about defending your country, and your family, and your way of life. Get it? Its not about some elitist theories your polysci prof. filled your young impressionable noggin with. The one thing your prof. probably never told you is that down through history in every country that ever gave in to tyrrany, the very first people marched to the chopping block are always the Kum-biyah singing “elitist” pacifists. Read Sheehan’s statements – she sounds like she’ll be quite alright without your concern for her future regrets. Nor does anything suggest that anyone is putting her up to her activism.

Why ascribe all these motives to her? She is a pissed-off mother who had any fear of suppression by the feds taken out of her when her son died.

From where I’m standing, your moral outrage masks denial at the fact that she is a person of integrity with a strong anti-war, anti-administration message.

If there are “gains” to be made here, it’s by the morally repugnant actions of the anti-war groups glomming on to this woman like a cheap suit. It’s sickening and speaks volumes about their character – or what little bit they have, anyway.

- But then again are these sorts of things really “gains” when so many moderates, and most conservatives in general, see right through it. Its the old story of being so focused on “the ends justify”, they ask “can I do this” instead of “should I do this”…. Just my opinion…..I could be a 700 lb gorrilla, ala Dennis……
