It’s nice to see an article reinforcing and confirming what has already been known through numerous anecdotal accounts: the President really cares about the sacrifices that military families make, and he struggles with his decision to go to war.

I’m looking forward to seeing the response from the Leftie blogs…if any is forthcoming. They’ll most likely just ignore it.

Why do some folks have so much trouble believing that this man is human? That he’s the ultimate reluctant politician? (as compared to his prima-donna-cynic of a predecessor) That he had to make tough choices on their behalf? That he grieves deeply? That his faith is genuine? That Newsweek is not exactly right wing for publishing one piece like this amidst a sea of lefty garbage?
