The morning after her recent interviews on ABC she voiced complaints of the manner in which she was treated, particularly the questions concerning her statements about her son “not dieing for Isreal”. She said a friend of hers is using her to promote his anti-semetic feelings and agenda. The original statement that she herself made to the press in regards to the palestine/Israeli situation: “[sic]…my son died defending America, he didn’t die for Isreal”…

While not exactly anti-semetic, emphasizing non-support so deliberately is troubling for all us American jooooooossss. Perhaps the back peddling comes from her handlers deciding Sheehans MSM “face value” to the Liberals would deflate if she was shown to be outright bigoted. ABC management for its part has issued a statement that “…The letter was not altered or edited in any way….”.

Whatever the real truth is about her true feelings on the matter, the left wings antipithy to the nation of Isreal is simply too well documented to take her protestations at face value.

- In another regard, apparently killing is only permissable if you’re a left wing Liberal. To quote a line from her own mouth:

“[sic]….Sheehan recently said she only seemed calm “because if I started hitting something, I wouldn’t stop ’til it was dead.” Yes, it certainly ia a wonder Bush won’t meet with her.

- Update: Cindy Sheehan has reportedly vacated the lunitic left encampment in Crawford. The reason given is a recent stroke suffered by her mother. Coming just at a time when the MSM press was showing signs of becoming bored with the lack of any real “news”, and her statements about her displeasure with the actions of several of the wingnut groups on her behalf, I’m a bit dubious. But if its true I can certainly feel compassion for the poor mis-guided woman.
