y'all, Code Pink would love to see wounded veterans not have to pay for their meals while they're in the hospital. Wouldn't you agree with that? Someone is spinning you on this one. Can you get that the peace movement is supporting our troops this time around? You could check out their web site for more info.

There's a famous statement along the lines of: "Anyone who's not a liberal before the age of 30 has no heart. Anyone who's not a conservative after the age of 40 has no head." (usually attributed to Churchill, but I think it was actually Clemenceau).

Today's "progressives", though, seem to be lacking as much in the heart department as in the head department. No one with a heart would do what these people are doing at Walter Reid.

Cindy Sheehan is a full-fledged moonbat

I've been relatively light on Sheehan so far, I guess if nothing else out of some sort of deference to the fact that she did have a son die in Iraq. But you reach a point where you can't allow...

Just pointing ou a factual error.

Walter Reed does not have hundreds of beds it has less than 200 beds( 180 ). And it's not being closed it's being replaced by a modern facility by the same name at a nearby location. And the new modern Walter Reed will have 340 beds. It's also not where most enlisted personell are sent for treatment. But the new hospital will treat many more enlisted men. And it should, because it is going to cost near a billion dollars to build.

So in a way it's more BS politics to protest/vigil at that location.

It's just showbiz and useless rhetoric motivated by politics and wishing for media coverage. It's so weak. A real lack of imagination and creativity as far as protest/vigils go.
