John Hawkins is very crafty at excerpting for dramatic effect. A real must read is the full draft itself.

Come on people. Thousands of our service men and women have died and bled for this document. Don’t you think as Americans we owe it to them to read it. All of it.

It’s a pretty cool constitution once you get past chapter one. But don’t take my word for it. Read it for yourself. It’s not perfect, but it’s probably better than you thought it was going to be.
