It was papa Jackson. Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. The son is more reserved in his articulation than the old man. I think they are actually both Reverends though. Jessie has bothered me for sometime. Sadly his every iniquity is brushed off. From adultary to embezzlement the man can do no wrong in some people’s eyes.
This whole situation has gone from a bad dream to a hellish nightmare. A friend of mine made an interesting point tho. He was talking about the fact that there are some in NO that just don’t want to be saved. Seems alot like the Salvation message. Sadly the same ones who reject the saving grace of Jesus will be running to the mountains saying “save us from the wrath of the Lamb”. I keep believing that we are going to start hearing stories of the Miracleous, or at least that is my prayer.

The Reverand is a showboater. But the son is a very good speaker….powerful. A bit biased as you have pointed out Mr. Douth. Rainbow Push is headquartered in my old district. For years I was a Republican election judge in the South Side of Chicago (Hyde Park). So I would see all the Jacksons and the Nation of Islam people first thing in the morning on election day. It’s a circus.

But niether the father or the son are as good as a public speaker as Barak Obama. Watch out for him. Who knows he might jump parties.

My mother says the good reverand smeared Dr. Martin Luther Kings blood on his shirt to impress the news crews when the civil rights legend was assinated. She was an insider, so I know she’s on the money.
