GBA - here is a link of what Dwayne may have been referring to.

http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/tallahassee/12526661.htm

Excerpt:
"Point cadet, leveled by Hurricane Katrina, its home to a large Vietnamese community. This area at the tip of the Biloxi peninsula, which has historically been a community of fishermen and sea food workers, is where several waves of immigrants have established footholds."

Duane,

The Hmong community?

Or the Vietnamese community?

Or are you speaking of the Cambodians?

There is a huge difference.
Which one are you talking about?

I agree with you Duane. There are people of all races suffering in the wake of Katrina. Because the majority of the people residing in the southern states impacted are black, this was the perfect staging area for Sharpton and Jackson to scream racism.

This is all about PC. Suffering blacks will always get priority.

There was a whole Vietnamese community in Mississippi that was wiped out. The coverage and emphasis on that piece of information has been minimal. Neither have I heard them use the race card.
