Rita now a Category 4

And still strengthening.

Here’s the latest projected path.

If your city is in the projected path of Hurricane Rita, please pack up and go to a safer area. None of us wants to pick up a paper over the weekend and read about a massive amount of deaths from this hurricane. We want everyone in the possible-affected areas SAFE.

Michelle Malkin has a link roundup of essential Rita info.

Jason at Generation Why? is leaving the Houston area. Good for him. I hope everyone else does too! He also has evacuation route info in that same post.

They are now saying that Rita will still be a CAT 1 when it crosses Austin!
    Rita is a monster!
We are advising our residents to put up any loose items in their yards. Many of them are leaving.
