Poor Green Bay  Good thing they are a 3rd quarter team

  2. PCD says:

    THBBBBT!!!!

    PCD stands for PackerCityDan

  3. Lorica says:

    /Sigh Poor Green Bay. LOL

  4. LCVRWC says:

They won, but forgot to cover the spread. Why Washington released Steven Davis is beyond me…

  5. Baklava says:

Yep. The Redskins could have Clinton Portis and Steven Davis and be mopping it up.

  6. PCD: I won’t gloat … in fact, we very nearly lost that game in true Panther fashion considering the comeback GB made in the 4th Q. I remember a few seasons ago (I think it was 3?) where we had a horrible record but it wasn’t because we were that bad a team, it’s just that we sort of slacked off in the 4th qtr of games and other teams came back to win. Last night reminded me of that season  I’m just glad the outcome was in the Panthers favor.

Lorica: Are you a GB fan?

LC: Dunno why they released him either, but I’m glad they did ;)

  7. Lorica says:

LOL Actually no I am not a GB fan. In fact I have not been a fan of football since the 1993 strike. Not that I am holding a grudge or anything like that, in fact I agreed with the players, they had some very valid points. I just can’t bring myself to “love” the game anymore, even in college football the almighty dollar has become to important. Of course that was about the time I changed to being an “Independant” from being a die hard Union Democrat, raised in a UAW household, thought my Dad was a traitor for voting for Ronald Reagan. LOL Ohhh silly me. I know you weren’t looking for a long disortation, but there you have it. I am presently between teams, but since I live in the Midwest, GO CHI SOX!!! (hints at the state he lives in) I feel the need to at least know something about the Packers.

/muses Perhaps I should become a Panthers fan

  8. LOL Lorica – I’m glad you wrote a bit more about yourself. I’m always interested in knowing more about the people who read here and comment :) Question: Can you be both a Chicago White Sox fan AND a Chicago Cubs fan at the same time? Seems in NY, it’s almost criminal to like both the Yankees and the Mets.

  9. PCD says:

    ST,

On the Sox-Cubbies dual loyalty, I doubt it. Sox and Cubbies are two very different baseball traditions. The Sox may have finally lived down Bill Veeck, though.

I feel that the Pack has lost it in the front office. I fear we are slipping in to the mediocrity of the Bart Starr and Forrest Gregg coaching era.

  10. Lorica says:

I think the Answer to that will be seen in how Chi Town comes out to cheer for the Sox, even tho the Cubs are the Favorite son. :)

I am off on Holiday all :) so have a wonderful weekend without me :) LOL :)
