Mother Nature has brutally struck again in a year when she has been deadly cranky: the death toll for South Asia’s earthquake is now 18,000 and rising, as is clear from this AP report:

Very Christian of you indeed. I can’t help thinking of all the Muslim “Allah is punishing America” obscenity we got from their part of the world when Katrina hit. So what happened, did Allah change his mind about who the good guys are? It is unimaginable that a Christian leader would call this God’s just punishment, etc. and exult at their misfortune.

I know I sound bitter, but I am so tired of Islamic double standards, even if our Christian charity is what distinguishes us from them.
