Old Style isn’t made in La Crosse anymore. It isn’t the same beer. I remember seeing the big silos painted as Old Style beer cans. I’ll have to take a trip back to La Crosse to see if they are still standing. After that, go spit at the Politically Correct college I graduated from and disassociated myself from.

My money has said Alito since Friday. But then again, I did manage to lose a little bet on the Wrold Series – I said the ChiSox would let the Astros win at least one game…. *grumble*

I tend to think Erick is right and it’ll be Alito. After the Miers fiasco and the Libby indictment, I don’t figure GWB will do anything to further annoy his conservative base. Right now Pres. Bush needs us if he wants to avoid being a lame duck in his second term.

Anyway, my money (and a six-pack of Old Style) is riding on an Alito nomination tommorrow 10-31.
