Seriously, what’s on my mind is that I loved the President’s speech. What’s also on my mind is Howard Dean’s scary press release on the President’s speech. Dean said that “We can no longer stay the course” in Iraq.

Simply shameful. Where did the Democratic Party of Truman, JFK, Scoop Jackson, Hubert Humphrey and FDR disappear to?

I don’t know what to do. For the first time in my life, I am seriously contemplating not voting for the next two elections. Regardless of which party wins, conservatives lose either way.

Maybe the GOP needs to suffer, we need to suffer, in order to get their arses back in line with party values.

I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by the lack of leadership in the Congress, WH, & RNC, especially since they hold the majority in two of our gov’t’s branches.

I don’t think he was ever really in danger. You could hear tht he was breathing. I don’t know if I should be worried my first thought wasn’t that my dog might die, but that I’d have to do some fast first-aid. At least I didn’t panic. But sometimes I wonder about that dog.

My other dog is fairly normal, BTW.

This one involved the clandestine taping of Harkin’s Republican campaign rival. There probably was a crime here but was quickly and quietly dumped by Patrick Fitzgerald (wanna be AJ in next Demo administration).

Don’t come with your “everyone does it” BS. Come with facts, like Jackie Currie in Detroit getting stripped of her office for vote fraud. Like the Democrats being actually convicted of vote fraud enabling their Governor candidate to steal the office.

Let’s talk about stopping Democrat activists from going into nursing homes and voting for dementia patients like in Detroit, and even here in Dubuque.

Mike Kilo over at Right Voices will tell you how in the 04 election a poll worker just came over and pulled the lever for a straight Democrat ticket and voted it against his wishes.

Let’s talk about Las Vegas Union Goons who go into the voting booths to intimidate voters.

Yeah, lets talk about other fraud like a candidate claiming to be in a voting jurisdiction, but not owning or renting any domicile, like Tom Harkin did by using his Disabled brother’s P.O. Box as his voting residence while Harkin lived in DC and the Bahamas.

I do have a topic that I would love to discuss–primary reform. My apologies to folks in New Hampshire and Iowa, but by the time the primaries get to Texas, it is almost always a done deal. I know the latest commission has recommended adding 1 or 2 states to the early process, but I would like to see it opened up even more so more people have a say in which party nominees are selected.

The way I see it, the pros would be a more equitable process. The main con is the greater campaign burden on the candidates.

Rogue DA’s like Ronnie Earle and that dork after Limbaugh. Neither of them have a case, yet the MSM treats them like superstars. Both should be disbarred for abusing their offices for political purposes.

Our Do-Nothing Congress. It is time to clean both house of their un-ethical members (Ex. Rep. James McDermott, Nancy Pelosi, Chris Cannon, and Waxman. Ex. Senators Kennedy, Kerry, Durbin, Harkin, Jeffords, Reid, Levin, Schumer, and Clinton.) Also, time to get serious on finding realistic sources of domestic energy and insulating our old housing stock to save energy.

Time to really take care of new and old veterans, not demagogue the issues.

Also, time to consider ways to clean out the bias in the MSM, and provide for harsh penalties for broadcasting false propaganda in the guise of news or “investigative” reports.
