I am very concerned for our Country when I see what is portrayed as news by the Associated Press. It is terribly biased most of the time. It neglects economic good news, feeds us with causalty reports but little else on Iraq, trumpets Democrats such as Murtha and gives little or no ink to the views of those who support the President such as Senator Lieberman.

The problem for our Country is that most newspapers depend on the Associated Press for their national and international news and it follows an editorial policy that is a great deal like that once followed by Pravda.

We are indeed in a crisis in America and it is one caused by our left-leaning, biased and arrogant media that follows these guidelines:

1. Bash Bush
2. Magnify Admistration failures and minimize failures of the opposition.
3. Have a regular "scandal" of the moment.

 a. Valerie Plame
 b. Abu Grayeb
 c. Halliburton
 d. Katrina and FEMA
 e. Global warming and Anwar
 f. Cindy Sheehan
 g. Tom Delay
 h. others like the above

In a rising, robust economy, find any problem or potential problem and make that the headline. For example, with the Stock Market breaking records feature stories on deficits (even though they are declining) or find "experts" to predict that the housing market is in a dangerous bubble.

Headlines are especially important. The Associated Press sends out suggested headlines to its subscribers. If Senator Delay is cleared of most of the charges against him, suggest a headline such as "Delay faces key money laundering charge."

The AP is committed not to giving the American public a fair rendition of the news but rather is dedicated to:

1. By focusing only on losses and never on successes, losing the war our soldiers are bravely fighting in Iraq.

2. Bashing President Bush in any and all issues in any way possible.

3. Discrediting any economic gains and fostering fear in the public concerning the economy.

4. Supporting only one party, the Democrats and decrying and defaming the initiatives of the party responsible for the Country at the moment, the Republican Party.

Thank God for the Blogs such as Sister Toldjah!
