Tampa Bay at the Panthers

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on December 11, 2005 at 12:56 pm

Game starts at 1 PM EDT. Should be a good one! The Panthers will battle to stay in the top spot in the NFC South.

Update: I know I’m late on the update – wasn’t feeling well yesterday afternoon so I didn’t log back on. The Panthers poor game didn’t help! Of course by now everyone knows my Cats lost yesterday :( Final score 20-10 Bucs. Bucs have taken over first place in the NFC South.

I’m in California. Used to be a big Tampa Bay fan, when I was running fantasy football leagues. But given my family’s looong roots in South Carloina (back to the 1740’s or earlier) I’ve been a Panthers fan since they were organized back in `95. GO PANTHERS!

Tough loss.. Now you’ve got Chicago, Tampa, and Carolina all sitting with 9-4 records and the Vikings just won again to improve to 8-5.

I’ve lived across the Bay since 1985. So I have rooted for the Bucs since their Orangesicle days. Sorry, Sister. :d

Now my Eagles are just a sorry bunch and I think the glory days for them are over. :(

Tough Loss Miss. Looks like a tough 1st half. The Cats will do well with the rest of the season tho. :) – Lorica

    GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!

Er, with apologies to camojack and benning. Sorry!

  7. PCD says:

I think the Pack won the game at the expense of losing Reggie Bush in the draft.

  8. PCD – has Bret Favre said anything about retiring at the end of this year?

  9. PCD says:

Sister, I don’t think Farve knows what he’ll do from one minute to the next on retirement, or throwing into coverage. He’s a bad influence on Gado.

GO GIANTS…….. The best part about yesterday was that the Philly Pidgeons season is OVER!!!!!!!!!!

And yet, as lousy as the Eagles are this year…the Giants barely won, in overtime no less. They aren’t going anywhere. GO COLTS!!!

This off season is going to be interesting for the Packers. I don’t know if Ted Thompson will be around. He’s the cheapskate that let both Marco Rivera and Mike Wahle go to other teams FOR NOTHING IN RETURN!

Samkon Gado is a rare find. He’ll be a fan favorite for a long time. He deserves a legitimate shot at a roster spot next year, and a decent Pro contract to go with it. He’s what a Pro Football player should be, not Terrill Owens.

Just a tangent to NFL football. Gilbert Brown (Remember him?), former star defensive tackle and butt of international and galactic jokes about his weight, has invested $100,000 in the Milwaukee Mile race track. What does Gilbert know about going fast?
