The Founders (including Washington) fought the Revolution with scrupulous attention not only to the laws of war as understood at the time, but went far beyond what was generally considered requisite to waging conflict. Pompous morale equivalence by nihilistic cowards is offensive and degrading. Such buffoons are anti-humanity and should be disregarded as not serious. Unless, of course, they are members of the established media and intelligentsia, and therefore obligated to point out to us all the vacuity and hypocrisy of our own lives. Because we all know that violence never solves anything and that nothing is worth defending, save perhaps an unearned authority. Yes, I am sore pissed. And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone, by the way.
