The undermining of this war

Maybe it’s because I’m feeling a bit on edge tonight, but I’m sitting here thinking about how much undermining of the war has gone on by the bogus accusations of ‘lies’ by Democrats in Congress and it makes me sick. I just cannot get over how so many of them are working to turn this into Vietnam in terms of the war being fought on two fronts – both abroad and in the press. Cliff Kincaid from Accuracy in Media has an eye-opening piece that discusses some assertions written in a Nov. 3 Washington Post column written by Jim Hoagland where Mr. Hoagland expressed the view that some people in the CIA and other high organizations full of Clinton-era holdovers and supporters were/are out to undermine the Bush administration (Hoagland strongly chided the Bush admin for its handling of la Affaire de Plame as well). .....   [Read More]
