I've always wondered why Ginsburg doesn't recuse herself from cases the ACLU has it's fingers in?

I know why Kennedy and kerry don't bloviate in condemnation of Ginsburg.

steve, there are no quotas on Supreme Court Membership. I doubt you objected when Democrats tried packing the Courts with Liberals who rule from the bench like despotic Kings.

Justice Clarence Thomas who was confirmed in 1991 on a 52-48 vote got 11 Democratic votes.

Alito got 4 Democrat votes.
Roberts got 22 Democrat Senators.

Liberal Justice vote totals:

What does this mean? That the Democrat Senators are more extreme and/or partisan.....

What'll drive the left batty is the fact that it was 58-42. That means that they COULD'VE had a filibuster if the people who voted no stepped up to the plate and filibustered.

Those Dems who changed their position did so because they knew they'd really been in the fire for blocking Alito come reelection time I'm sure.
