Problems accessing Little Green Footballs?
For the last couple of days I’ve had difficulty viewing the Little Green Footballs blog. Today I can’t pull up anything at all. I noticed a few other bloggers linking to recent posts by LGF so I’m wondering who else, if anyone, is having the access issues I’m having with it?
PM UPDATE: I’m able to access LGF here at home just fine. Speculation: Could be some new security program they are using due to the fanatical Islamists who are waging war on the Internet on sites that dare to republish the Mohammed cartoons – perhaps they’ve stepped up security at LGF and in turn my ISP is blocking access to the site during the day?? I dunno .

I haven’t been able to access LGF for 2 days. Am surprised InstaPundit or Michelle Malkin haven’t posted something, if something is up at LGF.

I am able to access LFG now.
Michelle Malkin just posted a article on how muslims are starting to DDOS sites that show the “offensive” mohammad cartoons. The photoblog Zombietime have been attacked as well. My blog is so far too insignificant to be hit yet.
It came right up this time, but it hasn’t wanted to load for me off and on all week. I usually view the RSS feed from it, but that’s been giving me intermittent errors too.
I haven’t been able to access them from my work computer for 2 days; however, I got to them last night from my home computer. Tried again from work just now – no go.
I just checked and LGF loads quickly for me, but when I search the site it really seems to bog down.

Could be those pesky Muslims.

Still not coming up for me
Just came up for me, quite quickly too.
I just tried… Got right in… You guys aren’t holding your mouth right or something, or, as my OLD, like 4 servers ago, host use to say, every time there was a problem, “It’s not my fault, you need to clean your cookies…”
Several of us on that server, which is no longer with us, used to refer to it as *Good but dirty cookie recipe* server…
I’ve had the same problem from my work computer and no problem from home. I was thinking my boss had blocked LGF but it might be the other way around. LGF has some defense up to ward off the whacknuts.
Looked fine from my house… I didn’t check from work.
I STILL can’t access LGF.
Deborah, try googling LGF and click on a cache link. It is like entering through the back door. I have had to do that on some sites.
