I showed the cartoons to my high school Current Events class and invited them to discuss the issues of press freedom and religion. It was inspiring to hear their wide-ranging comments. Amazingly, the sun rose the next day right on schedule – no sign that the Republic suffered permanent harm, let alone Armageddon.
