There is a difference.

O’Rielly is not Fox News, same with Hannity and Combs. They are commentators and not the news anchors or reporters.

Same as Olberman, he is not the news, he is a commentator.

Breaking what law? All weekend FOX News pushed the “we should invade Iran” propaganda routine. They were the only ones using this fearmonger tactic, so were they breaking a law? Or was it just another excercise in warmongering that they know so well? Peace

Pam nailed one thing: the Democrats have had a succession of kerfuffles that they saw as issues, which turned out to be nothing. I use WordPress (as does our wonderful hostess) as my blog software, and WordPress allows me to post-date entries. I've got one due to pop up on April 25th, to remind people about how the left was attacking President Bush on the Dubai Ports World issue, which I'm guessing will be a nothing. I've got one due to pop up in mid-May, asking people where the Cheney hunting accident story went; it'll have been forgotten. And, I've got one due to pop up in December, with the predictions for 2006 posted on The Liberal Avenger; where we had predictions that Sam Alito's nomination would be defeated and that there would be a rally of 100,000 people demanding impeachment by year's end.

It will never happen.

They will passthe blame to someone else, or it was a glitch, or if they do, it will be buried in the obituary section.

We have allowed for personal responsibility to be removed from our culture. It is never your fault, it is someone elses. Don’t take responsibility if you can shift the blame.

Former CNN anchor Aaron Brown has it in a nutshell:

“The news in this country is a business,” he said. “You might not like to think of it that way, but it is.”
