I worked on those planes at Travis AFB for 12 years, and was a memeber fo the base crash recovery team.  This is, as crashes go, a good one, where everyone survives.  I was amazed the crash was

I have pictures of a C5 that did a belly flop onto the runway at Travis.  It is still in commission now, which like this shows how tough these planes are.

It&#039;s not just a miracle either, it is also a testemony to the great training these pilots get.
