Major provisions of California’s Proposition 187

(Passed by voters in November 1994, invalidated by federal judge in September 1999)

- Ban illegal immigrants from attending public schools, state colleges and universities.

- Ban illegal immigrants from receiving public health care or social services, other than emergency medical care.

- Require every school district and governmental, health or social service agency to verify the legal status of students, parents, patients and other applicants; require such agencies to report suspected illegal immigrants to state and federal authorities.

- Require state and local law enforcement agencies to verify the legal status of every arrestee suspected of being an illegal immigrant and report suspected illegal immigrants to state and federal authorities.

- Create new state crimes for making or using false documents to conceal true immigration or citizenship status.

While unfortunately I did not find any hard numbers on San Francisco directly, I hope some of the links may be helpful to you. I would like to warn you that I think it will be very hard to find exact numbers of illegals or ‘undocumented’ immigrants, since if they are here illegally, they aren’t about to come forward to be counted.

These criminals enter our country with both impunity and little or no background research: In 1993, Mir Amal Kansi, a Pakistani, killed two CIA employees outside the agency’s Langley, Va., headquarters and then fled the country. The same year saw Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, a religious leader, and four co-conspirators indicted and convicted for the first World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured thousands. This cabal of illegal aliens had been found with numerous fake passports and bomb-making videos.

Later that year, eight illegal-alien Muslim fundamentalists were arrested in New York for plotting to blow up the United Nations headquarters, tunnels under the Hudson River and a federal office building. The arrestees were from Sudan, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan and the West Bank and Gaza areas in Israel.
