Have fun, this is one of the great times of owning a home, when it's finally "yours" and everything you do to make it nicer feels different. There's just a different attitude and response when you own the home, making it uniquely yours is a blast. It's about time for me to do it again, I replaced a couch, need to paint, and get a new chair. Time for a little refreshing, which is also fun. Good luck with it, have fun!
