Waves of immigrants have hit the shores before.

Yea they hit the shores at Ellis Island and entered the United States “LET’S ALL SAY IT” Legally unlike the Illegal Hispanic Immigrants.

The Dems are great at race bating as well as using class warfare and peaceful entry would be to obey the laws of the country you are entering. As far as assimilation these illegals are not, how often do you have to make a choice of Spanish or English when calling a business, Government Office or using an ATM.

Solitaire you don’t even know the meaning of the word “Racist” so here it is:

The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.

Here is the definition of prejudice:

Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular group, race, or religion.

You liberals love to throw around words without knowing what they mean. Next time before spewing words try looking them up in a dictionary.

Waves of immigrants have hit the shores before. They eventually are accepted and become part of the American landscape. If the Dems recognized the uselessness of riling up racial hatred to resist the assimilation of these people, and instead are helping to insure a peaceful entry to the citizen process, and by doing so win over a majority of the future voters, then they just outsmarted the GOP. When the GOP heard from their business supporters, the money behind the king, look how quickly the ‘kick them out, the felons’ speeches ended! But they will never get the new votes. They showed their true racist colors too quickly.
Throw ‘em out? What BS! Felons? Yeah, sure.

For one thing respect is something that is earned and if you had any dignity you wouldn’t be breaking the laws in this country! So put that where the sun doesn’t shine Mr. Gutierrez.

You know, I must admit I’m a little confused. Wasn’t it the democrats who were bashing the Bush administration a few months ago because he wasn’t doing anything about the immigration problem? I seem to recall two governers who were democrats who declared states of emergency because of the immigration problem. Now they seem to be howling mad that they are addressing the problem. I mean, am I wrong? I’m not trying to bash anybody, it just seems like there was a change of heart all of a sudden by the democrats.

That would not be tactful solitaire. While Democrats leaders have school children write letters saying, “Please Republicans don’t cancel my school lunch” (even though the accusation wasn’t true), and have elderly citizens come into the capitol to protest Medicare changes (with untrue/false characterizations), and invite the Cindy Sheehan’s and Micheal Moore’s of the world, I have not seen like behavior by the above the fray Republicans.

Republicans have shown through history that they are mealy mouthed, weak -kneed, spineless, slightly left of center, wanting people to like them wimps mostly. Except for Tom Tancredo and a few others.

I saw a speech that George Allen gave and he shook my hand. While he is an above the fray kind of guy (in other words he has tact), he is a conservative. But he won’t be doing the low things that Hillary, Rangel, Reid, Pelosi, Kennedy have been doing this past year.

…. sounds like a threat to me. I’d word it this way, “The non-negligent politicians thought they could try to address national security issues with respect to illegal immigration legislation, but they awakened the illegal immigrant giant and marxists/communists, and this country will feel their strength when they stop work and we hope that awakens the rest of the country who is interested in national security and helps the politicians FOLLOW htrough with not being negligent.
