Hello :)
FYI, blogging will be sporadic today (mostly early evening stuff) because I’m making final preps for some friends who are coming in to town tonight for the housewarming. Have to pick them up from the airport late tonight and I’ve still got so much to do to make the house presentable. Friday and Saturday I won’t be around to blog except perhaps very late in the evening or early early morning when everyone else is asleep and then maybe I’ll get a chance to do some “pajama blogging” 
I’ll check in later today when I can.
Consider this an open thread.
Update 10:56 PM: Bad weather in Atlanta has caused a few airlines to cancel flights this evening – which means I won’t get to see my friends until sometime tomorrow

More and more I am coming to the conclusion that to work in the MSM you have to be a lying ****bag. Michael Hiltzik got caught using pseudonyms to praise himself, his posts, and to ratify his arguments on his blog and other blogs. Hiltzik is a columnist for the LATimes. The Blighter even had the termidity to use my name in an attack on Hugh Hewitt.

Fascinating PCD. There is a branch of forensics called stylometry, and it deals with analysis of writing to determine the probability that e-mails or other written messages were written by the same person. It analyzes such things as grammar, misspellings, phraseology, number of words/sentence, etc. Given enough data to work with, some of the programs that do this can be quite accurate. I’d love to see a lot of the various comments on different sites put thru some of this s/w to see what pops up. I think the use of sock puppets is probably quite common, and also quite repulsive and usually indicative of a fragile ego and lack of self confidence.
- Seems the bad choices are starting to catch up with Hamas after only a few weeks. They’ve been asked at least a dozen times, in just the past three weeks to recognize Isreal, stop sending human bombers into shopping malls, firing rockets over the wall in Gaza, and just generally cease attacking and creating havoc, and we would resume giving them aide. They absolutely refuse to stop warring. these people are simply fanatical nut cases who would rather go hungry and deny their own people the basic neccessities they need to survive rather than make peace. Its totally disgusting, but says it all about who the real aggressors are in the ME.
- One thing I think that stops them from making a positive move toward peace is they’re afraid of losing the support of the other extremists Muslim nations, Syria, and Iran among them.Tthings may yet change though, because according to insiders Irans promise of support to tide Hamas over, is looking like an empty gesture, since so far, no money has been sent to Palestine. The Hamas leaders have to get a dose of reality, and understand that the days of having it both ways are over. We and the other Western nations that, even in the midst of the Palestine aggression, have been pumping aide into that region for years, are just not going to fund their one-sided war any longer.
- Maybe if they get desperate enough they’ll decide peace is a better way to go.
- I notice Steve(fn) is ignoring this situation convieniently, when if he wasn’t a total fraud, he’d be riling against Hamas. If its not some imagined “Neocon” or “Zionist” bogeyman, hes not interested. Particularly Hamas, who are the only ones attacking people anymore. Funny how that works.

Bang, this will take a minute. It doesn’t get more radical and warlike then Hamas and the Zionists, toe to toe and eyeball to eyeball. Hamas would like nothing better than for Israel to stage a large strike against them. That would cause an all out battle, the likes of which mankind has never seen. You up for it? On the otherhand if everyone cuts off the PA’s, money and people begin to starve, that makes Israel look bad because Israel is the controlling authority having occupied the territories 30 years ago. Guess who has painted themselves into a corner? There is one way and one way only out of the corner for Israel, and that is for the USA to immediately re-establish full diplomatic relations with Iran. Peace

Bit of a letdown. I tried on the legs, but they didn’t quite fit. My legs had swelled just a little bit. I’ll have to wait over the weekend and keep my legs wrapped to keep the swelling down. Then today, my transportation cancelled on me for today’s therapy. A little disappointing, but only until monday. Thanks for asking!!!!!!!
