There is only one acceptable response to this boycott. The American Association of University Professors, the American counterpart of the British National Association of Teachers in Further and Higher Education (NATFHE), should immediately declare a boycott of any professor, from any country in the world, who declares his support for NATFHE’s policy or acts in any way in furtherance of it.

That would be a perfect response, but the chances of it happening are slim to none. The hard left is in almost complete control of academia in the US, and more than likely the response will be to support the UK policy, and attempt to replicate it here. And, of course, to insist that anyone who resists or complains undergo mandatory political re-education training (aka “diversity sensitivity training”) or be thrown under the bus and fired or expelled.

Such is the nature of academic “freedom” these days…fascism is alive and well on our college campuses.

I also agree with Tigerhawk. Is Glenn Reynolds sleeping? Of course it’s a form of anti-smitism – specifically anti-Jews. Nothing new about that in Academe, especially British Academe.

I doubt any Profs in this country would boycott their counterparts no matter what they dreamed up. All of these groups are hot-beds of Socialism and Communist Dogma. Anti-Israel is a permanent stance for these creeps.
