You have every right in the world to ban those jerks out of your blog. After all, you pay for it. It’s not public property. Therefore, the First Amendment does not apply here.

But since those jerks seem to be strong believers in the “Fairness Doctrine”…

That guy who threatened you with a lawsuit should just get a life. He has zero right to insult you that way. Again, you have every right to zap him or his IP out of the picture as spam or a blocked address.

Jeanette and I had to deal with such a specific jerk a while ago. It was not pretty. In fact, we had to watch our side of our blog constantly for a good, long time in order to assure us that the blocking was working. This one, specifically, was harrassing her. When I laid down the law at the first opportunity, he went bonkers.

I support you, woman. Keep it up!

- The Democrats are more than happy to let the more unhinged bad actors on their extreme left carry the heavy water for the party, just leaning back and watching the Zombie squad attack Conservatives, and everything “American”. It takes a lot of energy to keep up the wailing and lie fests going, which is too much like work for the centrists. Problem is the Dembulb leadership hasn’t caught on to the polorizing effect this sort of antagonism begets among the mainstream voters.

- They still think “we’re not Bush” is going to work as a substitute for an empty, no ideas platform. Screeching, ad hominem attacks is all they have left, along with frothing at the mouth personal trash emails trying to intimidate Conservative bloggers, hopping to silence freedom of speech and the flow of ideas.

The “tolorant”, “intelligensia” of the left at its finest. Tire slashing, low life Scum.

No PCD thats curbing or silencing his freedom of speech to take a rifle and shoot people.

He is only expressing his rights of freedom of speech when he shoots people.

Yes, we know its against the law, but that shouldn’t matter, his rights of free speech are the only thing greater than the law and so he should be able ot express that by shooting them…..

I can just see that as a defense if he did do that.

And if all the moonbabies couldn’t tell, this was in jest.

The Moonbats need some serious mental help. There is one out here in Iowa that is threatening to remove members of Congress “by other means” if they don’t fully fund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

ST, my empathies. I would be pounding my fist against the wall with rage after receiving a note like that, if I ran a blog. However... it'll be fun to see what all these hateful liberal bumblef**kers like EP will post here after, despite all the grumbling and complaining, the GOPers STILL kick his and his candidates' teeth in this November... STEVE in Lakewood, California PS... You may disagree, but I recently found what I (at least so far) consider a somewhat rational and enjoyable, if sometimes high-strung, liberal blog: The Gun-Toting Liberal. They're NOT fans of Bush or the GOP by any means, but they ain't Kos either in that when conservatives post thoughtful comments, they seem to always respond in a civil and often positive, bridge-building fashion. GTL is also strong on defending our borders -- they AGREE we need a fence -- and, as you can all tell by its name, GTL supports citizens enjoying their Second Amendment rights. Check GTL out sometime, ST and others.
