Michelle Malkin blogged today about an ammendment dealing with Social Security and illegal immigrants. Guess what. The motion was DEFEATED by DEMOCRATS and a FEW Republicans again. The vote was 50-49-1 to table an ammendment by Republican Senator from Nevada John Ensign. Keep trying John!
Michelle also posts about the Democrats lies about not being breifed concerning NSA surviellance programs. Unfortunately for the Democrats the WH called thier bluff and released who was briefed and when .
Tammy Bruce links to this article which talks about strategists making contingency plan with respect to Iran. It mentions a 5 day bombing plan of 400 strategic sites and waves of bunker busters at 75 sites for 5 days. Submarine launched cruise missles would take out radar sites in the initial wave.
LOL at the Dems and the NSA briefings thing. Ooops
They need to quit playing defensive and go on the offensive.
Meaning they need ot quit trying to explain themselves from baseless charges like “no one briefed us’ – and do exactly what they did and give out the names and dates of when the democrats were briefed and what their reaction was.
Make it a new campaign ad, Democrats lie and say they were never briefed, well we have the proof they lied and do so to make the administration look bad, with times and dates of each person notified.
Half this would not be as bad as it is now if only they would come out swinging instead of just saying, if we dont say anything it will just pass…

Ok, hate to change the topic, but I just had to share this with you guys. For those that know my situation you can appreciate it. Today I got tricked into going into my PD. When I get there they call everyone in the PD to the classroom and stick me up in front of the class. Then a Captain tells me that the entire police department chipped in money and they got me:
A Yankees jersey
2 tickets to 2 Yankee games at Yankee stadium in July!
Airfare all paid for.
$1,000.00 spending cash for the trip.
Also, one of our officers is a former NYPD cop and he contacted some people in NY and they are going to give me an NYPD escort to the game, a tour of the Yankee clubhouse and the opportunity to meet some of the Yankee players. They also said I might get to ride in an NYPD helicopter.
I could not believe it. I was so speechless, all I could do is cry. I cannot believe they did all that for me. It was an incredible boost at a time when I really needed one.

How have you been doing lately?
I’ve been doing pretty well, thanks S.T. I just ended my fourth week of therapy with my new prosthetics and I’m getting around on crutches pretty well. I can even walk without them on flat surfaces! I can take normal strides and can walk almost perfectly without any device at all on flat, level surfaces. My therapist thinks I will be done by July but that might be a bit optimistic. I don’t mind though, because I have to start practicing for the police P.T. test.
Got an even better story! When I was lying in the hospital in February I got a visit from a friend who was getting married in May. I told her that I was going to dance at her wedding. Last Saturday, the DJ cleared the dance floor, told everybody the story, and I danced with the bride for one song! I know it sounds a little cheesy, but it meant the world to me.
