- Well Ashley, assuming you're for real, just remember what that great Mathematician Al Gore once said...

"There are three types of people in this world.....those that are good at math and those that aren't"...

Thanks for your comment Ashley. Maybe your teachers can teach you to TURN THE CAPS LOCK OFF when posting, it makes it hard to read your comments.

If your GPA is great, what is it in math? Grade inflation is unfortunately rampant, not just in primary and secondary schools, but also in college, and is a large part of the problem. Instructors have lowered standards, then along comes a test based on hard, objective standards that reflect the kind of knowledge you'll need in the real world, and kids can't pass, but have an overinflated sense of how much they actually know, as teachers and schools have dumbed down the curricula in order to avoid constant battles with parents and other groups for failing students, and to harken to mistaken "progressive" ideas of how to teach, ignoring what has worked for generations.

I'm truly curious as to how you do in math classes, and if you could elaborate on what you feel the difference is between what your math class teaches you and what the test is asking of you. There has to be a disconnect there somewhere, if you could shed some light on it from the perspective of a student facing the test it'd be quite informative.

In the real world we earn what we learn.

If I don't do my job, should my employer pay me for my disservice and incompetence.
