Hurricanes win game 5 in OT

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on May 29, 2006 at 4:10 pm

They didn’t look great early on, but the Hurricanes eventually got it together enough to win game five 4-3 against the Buffalo Sabres.

Game 6 will be played tomorrow night in Buffalo – game time is 7:30 pm ET (I got the game time on last night’s game wrong … I swear OLN was advertising it for 9pm but apparently it came on before that time because when I turned the TV over at 9 is was already well into the second period).

    ST,

    You’ve got a lot of folks up here in Philly who would love to see the ‘Canes win it all, if for no other reason than to see Rod Brind’Amour get to carry the Cup around. No one in the league works harder or deserves it more.

    GWR;
    I agree with you there, it seems like the ‘Canes should be known as the Flyers South. Roddy, Justin Williams, Jesse Boulerice, if the Fly Guys can’t win, we might as well root for the ‘Canes.
