BTW, the ‘Canes and Sabres play game 7 tonight in Raleigh – game time 7:30 PM ET. This will be *the* game to determine Edmonton’s opponent in the Stanley Cup finals, so I’ll be sitting on pins and needles the entire game (as I’m sure many ‘Canes fans will).

This is just wrong – 2 goals in 2 minutes by the Sabres puts them up 2-1 going into the crucial third period. I feel like I do when I’m watching Duke play Carolina in college basketball when Carolina is ahead: ill.

You know what’s really sad? When I first started watching the game I was flipping between it and a baseball game I was watching. Everytime I changed the channel the Canes scored. For the 4 minutes I did watch the hockey game, the Sabres score 2 goals. So,as some of you sports nuts know, I concluded that I was a jinx, so I did not watch the rest of the game.
Sad? Yes, but it did work, cause the Canes won!!!
