- When we pursue the Jihadist thugs, and bring them to justice, its either unimportant, or its a setup to bolster Bush’s approval numbers.

My friends on The Liberal Avenger website are among those hammering on President Bush for failing to "get" Mr al Zarqawi in 2002. I commented:

Well, one thing is clear: since President Clinton refused to take Osama bin Laden into custody when he had the opportunity, and President Bush refused to have Abu Musab al Zarqawi killed when he (apparently) had a better chance to do so, the only reasonable conclusion is that anyone who is even suspected of being a potential threat to the United States, our allies or our interests must be captured or killed at the earliest possible opportunity. Did I get that one right?

- The hard left, all those deranged voices you see yammering in rabid obnoxious, outright traesonous voices on the blog sites are becoming a yoke around the Democratic parties neck. They hate the Hilldebeast, for of all things, being too Conservative.

- I’m coming to believe that some of these people are so unhinged they’re a clear danger to themselves and society. Its way past political discord, or debate of ideas. they’re into cult territory, and the more things stabilize in Iraq, the worse they get.

- At some point, the general public are going to get so fed up its going to effect the party as a whole. Today you saw the Democratic leadership really tiptoeing on the demise of Zarqawi. I think they’re starting to realize themselves a certain segment of their party is completely out of control….
