Here's a little history lesson that proves liberals were wrong and are still wrong and how the MSM's (Then only three channels) liberal bias lost the War in Vietnam. Let me introduce Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap he was the head man in charge of the North Vietnamese Army.

In his book, Giap clearly indicated that NVA troops were without sufficient supplies, and had been continually defeated time and again.
By 1968, NVA morale was at it's lowest point ever. The plans for "Tet" '68 was their last desperate attempt to achieve a success, in an effort to boost the NVA morale. When it was over, General Giap and the NVA viewed the Tet '68 offensive as a failure, they were on their knees and had prepared to negotiate a surrender.
At that time, there were fewer than 10,000 U.S. casualties, the Vietnam War was about to end, as the NVA was prepared to accept their defeat. Then, they heard Walter Cronkite (former CBS News anchor and correspondent) on TV proclaiming the success of the Tet '68 offensive by the communist NVA. They were completely and totally amazed at hearing that the US Embassy had been overrun. In reality, The NVA had not gained access to the Embassy--there were some VC who had been killed on the grassy lawn, but they hadn't gained access. Further reports indicated the riots and protesting on the streets of America.
According to Giap, these distorted reports were inspirational to the NVA. They changed their plans from a negotiated surrender and decided instead, they only needed to persevere for one more hour, day, week, month, eventually the protesters in American would help them to achieve a victory they knew they could not win on the battlefield. Remember, this decision was made at a time when the U.S. casualties were fewer than 10,000, at the end of 1967, beginning of 1968.

Kerry was wrong Hanoi Jane was wrong and the MSM was wrong to spin there reporting of the War in Vietnam to suit there agenda. People like Kerry count on an ignorant public thanks to the Swift Boat Vets that enlightened some of the ignorant and help keep that lying cowardice piece of crap out of the Whitehouse.

With every passing day, Kerry demonstrates with exquisite clarity exactly why the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth's assessment of his character was grossly optimistic and gave him too much benefit of the doubt.

Kerry is, and always has been, an opportunistic, ego driven, hooray with me the hell with anyone else, weak willed, weak minded, panicky traitor. He has an obsession with becoming president that dates back to his college days at least, and he has a penchant for self delusion and fantasy (I still have the hat!). And he was the best the Democrats could come up with? And after all this time, he still thinks he could run again in '08, after all the mind numbingly stupid and ham-fisted things he's done and said since the '04 election! Talk about delusional, just based on what he's said and done recently, his opposition would hand him his head before he could even get into the primaries.

There are plenty of things Bush does that I am not fond of, overspending on non-essential things, way too lax on border enforcement and immigration, a bit too fond of using the FTC for morality enforcement, but damn, just DAMN! Not a day goes by that either Gore (nobody takes me cereal!) and/or Kerry (I have the hat!) does or says something that makes me thank the Gods that neither were ever elected to be CinC/President. That is a nightmarish doomsday scenario that will definitely keep you up at night.

John Kerry not only should not be President. He should not be a US Senator. In fact, John Kerry should be tried for Treason for his actions after leaving Vietnam and upon conviction, his punishment should be meted out immediately, especially if it is a firing squad.
