This is a sorry day. Soldiers deserve far better than this. They expect that they may die in battle, or as a result of their wounds, but this kind of barbarity is beyond the pale. May GOD wreak his own special vengeance on these Muslim creatures.

Personally, I’d fight this war the same way the Romans would have. There would be no pussy footing around with treating captured insurgents like POWs, what are their rights, etc. I’d bring back crucifixion and line the roads in Iraq with the bodies of the captured terrorists. No better friend, no worse enemy indeed.

Our side is going to have each and every one of these “caring” events to hang on the Democrats “wall of shame” in all upcoming elections.

I wonder how the left would slam me for killing “innocent” bomb makers and their “innocent” families.

We give too much deference to the killers over in Iraq and let the Left wring their hands and harangue us about the war. I think it is time to go on a Real (self-censored) offensive that breaks al qaida’s back in Iraq, Afganistan, and anywhere else they are.

That is why I spoke about being disappointed in the reporting, especially if it is true that the families have yet to be notified.

In many ways I feel it is wrong for everyone to be splashing this all over the place before the families of the deceased soldiers have even been notified.

U.S. military officials told the Associated Press that two bodies had been recovered, but would not confirm their identities.

There has not been any confirmation on the identities yet, what happens if on the slim chance that these are not the same soldiers that went missing….then the whole blogosphere just informed everyone, and probably the parents of the missing soldiers that their loved ones have died – before any confirmation of it.

Yes, I realize that we have only heard of 2 that went missing, but there could have been more or different soldiers that were abducted and killed, we assume since we know of two that have been abducted that these are the same ones, before we actually get confirmation.

There is a great possibility that these are the same two, but everyone jumped before confirming and even before the families themselves we informed.

I guess my greatest reservation on all this is that everyone is jumping at putting this out before the families have even been notified.

Whether the murdered soldiers are the same two or some others, God receive these souls to you, comfort their families and help them through these trying times.
