He talks politics, with a right wing view. I agree with alot of the things he says, but my views are my own, and are not influenced by Rush.

So if Rush goes to jail for something I will still have my views. I actually don’t listen to Rush at all, but I do read his brother’s column on Newsmax.

The suspicious activity you so mention was Rush trying to sort his bags from being mixed in with his travelling companions that were going to a different airplane. He did not try and “skirt” customs as you so rediculously say.

What suspicious activity was he involved in, besides trying to sort his bags from his companions?

Did he run?
Did he try and hide his bags?
Did he make attempts to bribe the agents?
Did he switch bags?

If he was hiding something, and felt he was going to be targetted, don’t you think he would have slipped any contraband into his companions luggage so not to be be caught?

He had nothing to hide, he was not resisting searches, he opened up compartments as directed – but it does sound as if two reports are not jiving either. Business as usual for the agents or something a little more out of whack?

The perscription was in Rush’s Doctors name, the doctor has confirmed this, and it was done so as not to cause embarrassment because he is highly publicized person in the media. Whether this is illegal or not, will be between the doctor and the Law, I have no clue since this is the first I have heard of such occurences. But I have heard of celebrities getting stuff under false identities to protect their privacy before…

There was ONE pill missing out of 30 precribed, and the bottle, he stated, was in there since December – 6 months ago. Which give little credence to some of the nutty ones out there saying he went to the Dominican Republic for some taudry sexual fling, and the preaching of those on the left trying to say he is a hypocrite for having sex before marriage – again, all BS, since you are just assuming what happened because he had a bottle of viagra (skipping of course that one pill was taken in 6 months.)

Rush has been in and out of this country many times, he has had nothing but praise and good things to say about Customs officials and has not had any problems up until this point. Why is that?

There was no suspicious activity you so proscribe to Richard. At no time in the reports does it even say that Rush tried to use his status as a media icon to garner favor, or special treatment either….unlike others that do that.

Are these proceedings video taped for security reasons? I would be curious as to seeing an undoctored, original time-stamped video tape of the proceedings. That would definately flesh out who is telling the truth and who is not.

Ideally, everyone’s luggage is searched coming into the US. Rush was not the target of “Clintonistas” any more than he was targetted by President Bush.

To escape prosecution, Limbaugh agreed to refrain from using illegal (prescribed or not) drugs. The Viagra scrip was in somebody else’s name. That is news and his listeners have a right to know if he is back on drugs.
