I just saw this last night. It is pretty good. I liked the Flying Dutchman, except some of the whole sea cucumbers fetish someone had. I guess since the sequel is already made that Capt’n Jack will be back. Did someone see the scene after all the credits ran?? It was very cute, and I am glad I stayed for it. Also Whitehall, as my friends tell me about horror movies, “It’s only a Movie, it’s not suppose to be believable”. As I just despise most horror films these days, and don’t even get me started about how utterly boring most Stephen King movies & books are, only horror film I was truly horrified by was “The Haunting of Hill House” made in 1963. I saw it when I was 17 years old in 1980. Now that was a movie. – Lorica Muhahahaha

Saw this on a hot Saturday afternoon. The best part of the theatre experience was the air conditioning.

Sorry, but this movie was boring and unbelievable, with little plot or plot coherence.

Who can believe a swishing pirate captain could command a crew of degenerate, lawless fighting men?

Guess what amusement park rides will be opening next summer?

Saw POTC: Dead Man’s Chest yesterday. It was fun, lots of daredevil swashbuckling, gravity-defying stunts, lace-collared villiany, monstrous grotesques, pirate jokes, and plenty of Johnny Depp portraying the bet-loved pirate since Disney imported Treasure Island from the Brits back in the Fifties. (Notice that whenever Disney just acts as paymaster & doesn’t interefere, the movie is a hit?

It’s OK Sister if you didn’t wear your pirate ench costume this time. Some of my Rennie comrades planned on seeing it in garb, but I went with a more sedate bunch this time. If for some reason you ever end up near the Ohio Renaissance Festival or Kentucky Renaissance Festival while they are running, get into costume and come visit a bit while you’re in port!

Yup, he’s up there with Errol and Burt Lancaster (Crimson Pirate)! I hate opening weekends, but I’m off to see this one soon…
