Please note that even though Dean said Democrats would do better, he never gave any examples of what they would do! It’s easy to say “I can do better.” It’s hard to come up with exacly what you would do to be better. Typical Howard Dean (and also liberal extremists): all talk and no action.

I keep hearing how the Democrats would have done better. All they would have done is tell the Israelis to leave their valuables out on their kitchen tables and march directly into the sea (Med.).

Except for Lieberman, I’d even expect the nominal, cultural or “Reformed” Jewish Democrats to lead in such calls.
