Well, Carla, as long as you believe it, I guess that's all that matters.

I find it amusing that when people support Bush they are accused of being "blind loyalists", yet if you don't agree with the DNC talking points you are considered a traitor and run out of town.

Seems to me the left is the party of blind loyalists.
How dare anyone in their party not agree with them?

Carla, do us all a favor and put the bong down. NO I don't tend to drink at all. Can you please answer my question and not try to blow smoke??? How many people voted for Lamont??? Now how many people voted for Lieberman???? LOOK AT THE TOTALS it was 51 percent to 49 percent. SOOOOO Logically, I know that logic is hard for pot smokers, you cannot in any way reconcile your stupid comment that Lieberman lost touch with his constituients. Since Lieberman hasn't lost touch, proven in the number of people who voted for him, it must be someone else who did lose touch. Like usual you on the fringe think so incredibly stupidly. Also, how does the Right look bad?? Only if you believe polls made by people who fake photographs. Who cares. The proof is in the pudding, when November gets here, come back and gloat, I will even give you an apology for being so hard on you, but I will be expecting an apology from you for the things you keep saying here once the Right picks up seats. Good luck winning elections with look how bad the Right is, bad Right, bad. - Lorica

One thing I really haven't seen mentioned here is that many "moderate" Democrats around the nation are already leaving the party because of Lamont's win. Such moderate Democrats will vote Independent for the November elections, with a few of their number jumping over into the Republican Party.

Lamont's primary win changed the dynamics of every election in the nation...and those dynamics don't favor the Kos Kids or the Deaniacs.

- Their fearless Kossack leader, Herr Kos, has given them their marching orders. No sane human being "likes", "wants", or "enjoys" war, so the game plan is to conflate that with "turn tail and run". every poll question is in the form "Are you happy with the Iraqi war?. It's an old Marxist trick that works well on people with a 5th grade education. Not so well in America. The old Dem partty has become the party of the "cut and run cowards", at least the hard left portion. When the fall election cycle heats up and the moderates, the vast majority among the Dems, start flexing their muscle, you'll see just how small the un-progressive gaggle really is. Lieberman will beat them like a drum as an Independent, so there's at least one seat they've already lost, and the elections havn't even started yet. Great stratedgy. :o

As I blogged earlier, the whole thing against Lieberman started when he said Iraq had positive elements.

Bzzzzzzzzzzt. Wrong. Lieberman shot himself in the foot when he wrote an editorial piece badmouthing Democrats who were vocally against the Iraq War.

You, a leftist, used the word "uncomfortable". The polls you referenced mentioned nothing about "comfort level". I was referring to your comfort level.

I, a leftist, used the word uncomfortable in reference to the American people. Or do you really need a poll to say the word "uncomfortable" with the war? Would you rather I just post the words of the poll that say that 60% of Americans dislike the President's handling of the war in Iraq and are unhappy with the fact that we entered into it? Parse with someone who plays those games. I don't.

So, Lyin' Ned can't even beat a weak Republican candidate? If the Republican wins, I'll still pay off.

Gee...can't pass up a chance for an ad hominem, eh? Typical conservative BS. I'd say that Lamont's chances are reasonable..but tougher with Lieberman running. The vote will be split. Whether it will be split enough to toss the race to the GOPer remains to be seen. As I understand it, the Republican in the race isn't exactly a fit for the state..so its hard to say for sure. The more fitting phrasology is that if the GOP loses that seat..they're in bigger trouble than even I thought. If they can't win when the vote is split...they really do suck.

LOL Carla you are too funny. So the 40 percent that did vote is still pretty much a 50/50 split. There was what a 10,000 vote difference between the 2??? HOW IS THAT Lost touch with the constituients??? Nice try but your thinking is very much in error. - Lorica

Do you drink heavily before you come online?

No, even with the 40 percent, the vote is not a "50/50 split". There was a 40% turnout for the primary. That means that 40% of registered Dems showed up to vote. That's huge for a primary. But it doesn't mean that there's a 50/50 split for the general. Not even close.

Jeez.

Also let's talk about how you just lost a guarenteed Dem seat. I hope your little primary victory was worth the stupidity of losing the seat. - Lorica (again)

Its possible that the Dems did lose that seat. Or its possible that they just found a way to get a progressive into it. Given how lousy the right is looking and how godawful they're polling...its very possible.

Hmmm...failing to march, lemming like over the cliffs of insanity, is "losing touch with the constituents."

I swear, the Democrats are the next funniest thing to a 3 Stooges film festival I've seen in ages. But, since they are seriously hamstrining our efforts to fight for our survival against a brutal and vicious enemy, unfortunately I'm laughing till I cry...l-)

Carla,

I would like my car waxed when you are finished washing it. And don't forget to armor all the tires.

Ahh..an admission that about 60 percent of Americans are the "left". Interesting.

You, a leftist, used the word "uncomfortable". The polls you referenced mentioned nothing about "comfort level". I was referring to your comfort level.

And what happens if the Republican wins? That's the more likely scenario, IMO.

So, Lyin' Ned can't even beat a weak Republican candidate? If the Republican wins, I'll still pay off.

NC,

Exactly.

As I blogged earlier, the whole thing against Lieberman started when he said Iraq had positive elements.

Since that violates the DNC's official quagmire/cut and run policy, he became the victim of friendly fire.

The truth was sacrificed to politics. what a shock.
