Via WBZ NewsRadio 1030:

BOSTON (WBZ Newsroom) — A United Airlines flight from London to Washington D-C was diverted to Logan Airport this morning following a confrontation involving three passengers.

A woman on board Flight 923 apparently became “unruly,” prompting the pilot to request an emergency landing at Logan shortly after 10 a-m.

There are reports that the woman was claustrophobic and got into a confrontation with someone else on the flight. Massport’s Phil Orlandella tells the Associated Press that she was carrying Vaseline, a screw driver, matches and a note referencing al-Qaida.

Allah’s on top of this story, monitoring the news nets and updating frequently with what is being reported.

Betcha the claustrophobia claim gets her off scot-free.

  2. Knock. Her. Out. How many times are the single peeps gonna be in charge of an entire plane/train/bus full of normal people. Care to guess just the financial costs? Let her pay for the diversion, never mind everyone else’s time and lives. OT but same holds true for the mountain climbing morons up in the Northwest, who seem to be oblivious to any number of realities, get into trouble (or dead) and w/o a backup plan or GPS device for their own salvation. LOTS of money wasted on these (typically) college students on display.

  3. Just heard that she did not have a screwdriver and no note was found to AlQuada, they claim she was just
claustaphbic and it was not terrorism, yeah, I’m so sick of hearing it ain’t related to terrorism.
Get the feeling the Feds aren’t the brightest bulb in the pack.
