I don’t know much about all this blog-ad stuff, but just off the top of my head, I’d have to say it’s probably Bush’s fault. Isn’t everything?

I can see them. I’m using IE under the Avant Browser. version 7, I think. Opera is fine but it renders the HTML exactly as written. It doesn’t fix things like IE, Firfox, etc. do.

And I do like Opera! Try it!

I don’t read you more than perhaps once per week — time factor. When you said ads at the top of the page, do you have more ads than in the left column of a three column page? I see those OK today. I’m using Safari and OS 10.4.

I wonder if your ISP and your blog host are doing something similar. You may want to see what they say. David is something of a -puter guru who highly promotes Opera and can’t stand “Internet Exploder.” He sometimes checks your blog, but I don’t know how often.

On other news, relating to the abducted/kidnapped journalists:

“Certainly we are concerned about their safety, that is why we are working to ensure their freedom,” said Micaela Schweitzer-Bluhm, a spokeswoman for the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem.

She said it was still unclear who was holding the journalists.
