    Congrats. Slightly behind here — by about 399.8K. Hampered by the humid part of the Dog Days here in the Midwest, but it’ s been more wind and rain than heat lately. In other words, one soggy doggie. But “dangerous ground-to-ground lightning”? That’s just too much. This intrepid citizen journalist/scientist/netizen set out to find out what’s going on.
