Nevertheless, it now appears that the person most responsible for the end of Ms. Plame’s CIA career is Mr. Wilson. Mr. Wilson chose to go public with an explosive charge, claiming — falsely, as it turned out — that he had debunked reports of Iraqi uranium-shopping in Niger and that his report had circulated to senior administration officials. He ought to have expected that both those officials and journalists such as Mr. Novak would ask why a retired ambassador would have been sent on such a mission and that the answer would point to his wife. He diverted responsibility from himself and his false charges by claiming that President Bush’s closest aides had engaged in an illegal conspiracy. It’s unfortunate that so many people took him seriously.

Today, to my knowledge, has still not so much as REPORTED that Armitage is the leaker, let alone given administration officials a chance to say something about it. The victims who watch that show for news, therefore, don’t even know about Armitage. And the NY times, after countless editorials and columns condemning the administration about “plamegate” put it on page A12 (left-side page, the least read side).

Then they wonder why people run, don’t walk, to get other news sources?!!

I laugh at this kind of media bias throughout my new book, “The Hopelessly Partisan Guide To American Politics”, which I co-wrote with Barry Sinrod, who doesn’t think it exists at all. What do YOU think?
