This is truly horrible.

I now think it is indeed possible that we will lose this war.

In a post I did last week, I introduced the metaphor of the “attrition mill.” An attrition mill is a device with two steel disks, very close together and rotating at high speed in opposite directions. Kernels of rain, or whatever substance is being milled, are crushed between the disks.

In the metaphor, our civilization is caught in a gigantic attrition mill, with one disc=k being the terrorist enemy, and the other being the reality-deniers and the excusers of terrorism within our own societies.

I agree that the site seems extremely left biased, but I did get a few more facts from someone involved in the process - Arizona 9/11 Memorial I am a bit less outraged now.

Another 9/11 Memorial Taken Over by Libs

It is one thing to wake up every day angry at the world for passing you by because you spent all your working hours on a blog or at some protest. It is quite another to hijack the memories of the victims of 9/11 and our fighting men and women.
