The problem is that we have turned schools into “gun free zones”, so a teacher could be a certified firearms instructor as well, but would be required by law not to have a gun to defend themselves and their students. Notice how these nuts never shoot up a Police station!

Glad it over, one kid hurt by gun or explosive device and the other O.K., thank God, but I did hear the news folks say they didn’t go in the school, thats not good.

While I was waiting in line to pick up my kid from High School I heard a guy from Colorado on one of our local talk shows.
He said that after Columbine the police have learned
NOTHING. They waited so long after the shootings at Columbine that alot of kids bleed to death and they claimed they would not do that again, but this guy said this is exactly what is happening today. The cops did not go in and the teachers and other staff got the kids out except the hostages. This is spose to be some kid’s Father, wonder what his beef is but the guy beign interviewd said nothing has been improved since Columbine. They had all the info on the kid making bombs in his garage and NEVER got a serch warrant, lied about it but it was proved they knew.
I sub in schools here in Alabama and I am amazed at all the open doors, I keep flashing back to Russia and all those kids killed in that situation. Here it would be very easy to come in a school and take over.
I have brought it up, but ……
