In the last few days there have been accusations from several sources that Virginia Senator George Allen has a serious race problem. Of course this hit the news when a videotape surfaced showing Allen calling a brown-skinned man “Macaca&rdq...

The dems are allowed to use the word cuz they are dems and the blacks follow em blindly. No logic with sheets byrd w.viginia senator .... unbelievable.
Now I heard Bob Woodward is releasing a book right before the elections that will be bad for Bush ,, whats new here, there will be excepts coming out in drips up until the election, this is no surprize to me, knew there would be a hit piece coming out, this is getting sickning.

Sis says:

Frankly, I'm surprised to see the article about Webb's alleged use of the "n" word in the WaPo. Wonders never will cease …

Yes, but take a close look at the headline part of the WaPo link:

Webb Denies Ever Using Word as Epithet
Racial Slur Overshadowing All Else in Contest

By Michael D. Shear
Washington Post Staff Writer
Thursday, September 28, 2006; Page B01

See where they ran it? Page B1. Not only didn't this make front page above the fold, it didn't even hit the main news section. In other words, WaPo considers this about as important as a three-car pileup on I-495. It's a one-day second-tier story to them.

Anyone remember where the WaPo ran the 'macaca' story? Or the n-word allegations about Allen? How about how many stories they ran on those? And how many days they stayed on it?

Maybe I'm just the suspicious type, but I doubt WaPo or any other MSM outlet will give this the same attention. [-(

This is awful.

I'm in CA but I grew up in VA for 21 years. Virginians deserve better. I shook George Allen's hand in 1991 and I feel for what he has had to go through in the last few weeks and I don't have the answer on what you are supposed to do when you go down in the polls because of a Democrat mudslinging tactic but I don't think making Webb's use of the "n" word is an attractive manuever.

Democrats with their high and mightier than though attitude on race, have tried to beat Republicans over the head with the race issue for far too long. And yet they are the ones for preferential treatment based on race. We need to all read Ward Connerly's book "Creating Equal" for the solutions. I agree completely with him. His solutions are where we need to head and yet Republicans and Democrats both keep race preferences going.
