I can hear the BDS sufferers now concerning the NorK nuke test (or pretend nuke):

Good call, guys. Don’t let yourselves get distracted, keep hammering away at the Foley story. The last thing we want voters to recall is how Carter and Clinton and Albright took care of the North Korean nuclear program.

of course, if Zelda were right about WW2, that would mean that Sowell should have done more research, no?

or maybe Sowell did some research and found out those people at MIT in Cambridge, Mass., are lying throught their liberal teeth, about WW2 having popular support?

Right on Zelda, and I love Sowell, he hit the mark on this one, just what I discussed in the previous post.
The dems seem so unconcerned about anything threatening the world, they just want to nail Bush and get back in power and THEY’LL DO ANYTHING TO WIN …Watch the dead rise to vote, the illegals voting up a storm, they are freaking that some want photo ID voting, my goodness, why not, thats not a hardship as they claim. They know if we have photo ID’s the cheating would be cut down big time.

I think Sowell should have pointed out that the Iraq war lacks bipartisan support because the Democrats aren’t a “loyal opposition” party.

WW2 was different. Everybody, Democrats and Republicans, supported the war, as recently shown by some MIT researchers who dug up some Gallup polls taken during WW2:

And the Spanish-American war was also different from Iraq, too. There was immense popular support for that war, as seen in the movie, “Citizen Kane.” That’s because, back then, the media had patriotic owners like Hearst, to tell the public why we should support the war, unlike the unpatriotic media we have now, such as CBS and ABC.
